I might be alone in this but I consider the Turks a far honorable and more open-minded people. I’ve had some absolutely priceless experiences with a few of them..None of them were Islamic fanatics
Also traveled to Turkey, Istanbul mostly. It feels like a European city than some Middle-East hellhole.
They’re very different from Arabs. I found all Turks I met very civilized people. They are real fun unlike the frown-faced killjoy Moslames I’m generally used to.
Perhaps Ramez Fekry would agree there that the Turks are a better quality people compared to Arab (his own Egyptian) or South Asian Moslames.
I know they’re not perfect but I’ll still take Turks over most other Moslames.

Although the Turks have that unenlightened history, as you suggest, their modern day descendants are far removed from the Ottoman Empire. Their general behavior does not reflect the bad things that were going on during Ottoman rule.
Genetically, most Turks are from Central Asia, they aren’t natives to Anatolia. Their real homeland is closer to Caspian Sea where their fellow Turkic tribes, Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, Turkmen etc. live.
Yes, also many European women descendants as you put it. But many were native to Anatolia. They just assimilated into the general Turkic population whether through violence or sflavery is a different matter.
I’m mainly concerned with their general behaviour in modern times which is very intriguing to me. Turks behave exactly like say, Poles or Romanians would.
