It does look like Speaker’s Corner, where a moslame tried to kill Hatun Tash (i.e. with a knife) for daring to publicly criticise his death cult. These days, they would probably arrest Hatun Tash rather than her attacker. The only reason she survived is that he ended up slashing her forehead instead of her throat (i.e. because she tripped or was tripped at the last moment). They never caught the f’ing moslame either (whether the British authorities even bothered looking is another question entirely).
