Vice President JD Vance was right to condemn the UK government for punishing free speech critical of Islam. Italian journalist Giulio Meotti provides disturbing examples of the infringement of the freedom of speech in the UK: “Orwell’s 1984 is now! Don’t dare to criticize Islam in the UK, or else!
Israel National News Besides the growing number of UK residents who are Muslim, there are the other, both Muslim and non-Muslim, for whom the fear of a violent Muslim backlash dictates the limits of free speech. This in the land of the Magna Carta, no less.
We live in strange times, when the Pulitzer Prize is awarded to the Palestinian Arab Musim poet who attacks Israeli hostages and denies that the Israeli Bibas family were strangled and mutilated in Gaza.
Strange times, given that the “thoughtcrime” prophesied by George Orwell’s pen – those committed by those who dare to think things that the “Ministry of Truth” has decided should not be thought – is now a reality in the country of the author of “1984.” Orwell’s book was written in 1948 when the Soviets had swallowed up half of Europe and were eager for more.
And we remember that Jolly Old England is the country of liberalism, of the Magna Carta (the first constitutional document in history), of the first publishing house in the world (Cambridge University Press), of the first modern newspaper (The Daily Courant) and of the oldest democracy. Until recently, a knock on the door by the police was very KGB, but now it is a feature of English national life.
A retired special agent has been arrested for a social media post warning about anti-Semitism. Hard to believe, right?Julian Foulkes was handcuffed at home by six officers of the force he served with after responding to a pro-Palestinian activist on X, The Times reveals.
The 71-year-old was held for eight hours, questioned and finally “cautioned”. Foulkes accepted the “caution” from police after eight hours behind bars without having to go to court. He did so because, as officers discovered when they searched his home, one daughter died in a car crash in Ibiza and the other lives in Australia, and Foulkes feared he would be refused entry to visit her if convicted.
Perhaps the only unusual element in the story is that the police admitted they had gone too far and apologized. But the former officer has decided to sue the authorities.

Bodycam footage from the raid paints a disturbing picture of what police are considering “suspicious”. Officers searched Foulkes’s book collection, with one expressing concern about some of the “very Brexit stuff” on his shelf. Another leafed through a copy of Douglas Murray’s “War on the West”. No doubt, the politically correct police see this as evidence of a “potential extremist threat”.
The retired cop was responding to a “pro-Palestine” protester who had denied there was a “hate” streak in the marches in London.
His post on X, sent two days before police went to his home, was a reaction to reports of an anti-Semitic mob storming an airport in Dagestan, Russia, looking for Jewish passengers. It was a response to an activist threatening to sue Suella Braverman, the then Home Secretary, for calling the pro-Palestinian demonstrations in London “hate marches”.
It was six o’clock on a Sunday morning when Allison Pearson found herself on her doorstep, in her dressing gown and slippers, facing two police officers.
The Telegraph journalist was facing a “Kafkaesque” police investigation for “inciting hatred” in a social media post last year. Pearson, an award-winning writer and excellent columnist for the English newspaper, had two police officers arrive at her home to tell her that she was under investigation for a post on X (formerly Twitter).
In London, Niyak Ghorbani, an Iranian dissident, has been marching alongside the Jewish community for months with his “Hamas is terrorist” sign protesting pro-Hamas marches. Ghorbani was forcibly removed by the Metropolitan Police for holding the sign and arrested many times.
Do you find it normal that an Iranian exile would be arrested for protesting against terrorists? The organizers of the same marches from which Ghorbani is being chased by the police have ties to Hamas, have met with Hamas officials, or have publicly praised its terrorist atrocities. One group, the Muslim Association of Britain, was founded by Muhammad Kathem Sawalha, a former Hamas leader who now lives in London.
In this case, everything is “legal”: because the authorities are no longer liberals (the original definition), but submissive positivists.
Christian preacher Hatun Tash was preparing to give a speech on the Koran at Speakers Corner in London when she was dragged away by police officers, as a crowd surrounded her and shouted “Allahu Akbar”. The police then paid £10,000 in damages to Tash.

In February, 50-year-old Turkish citizen Hamit Coskun was charged with causing “anguish” to the Islamic faith after burning a Quran outside the Turkish consulate in London. If Coskun is convicted, it would mark another step in Europe’s continued capitulation to the jihadists’ veto, where fear of a violent backlash dictates the limits of free speech.
When a retired police officer, a Telegraph journalist, an Iranian exile, a disabled activist and a Turkish Christian are arrested, interrogated and taken away by the police for expressing their views, it means that democracies are being overwhelmed by the newbarbarians already inside the city walls.

The white, limey, coward didn’t impress me w/his whining about bigotry against f’ing moslames. The f’ing moslames persecute and oppress EVERYONE not a f’ing moslame in all their islamic shitehole states. No one kufar is treated equally in islamic states and the islamic blasphemy and heresy laws informally or formally enforced across the islamic shitehole world in no way protect faiths other than islame.
Burma has the only answer the f’ing moslames have to go and the traitors that enable the islamic invasion of the dying, atheist West deserve the same fate that nazi collaborators received in France — Pb poisoning.
Here’s my big FU to british law enforcement, their judiciary, parliament and King Chuckles — traitors to the British people and the free world. I hope your moslame paymasters are paying you well for your treachery.
Why is that so…because england is so full of mudslimes that the english must please them or else they will go to the street and that is not wanted then there all would see what england has become under socialistic bullshit. the train has left the station and england was not on board and now england will pay the price just as the rest of the eu soon will pay this price for the importing of savages. Europe is falling and as most of us see it here it wont be saved then who can or will save us here?. right nobody so now we have to live with the fact that the politics here are the ones who sold and sell us out.
More and more crazy laws being made, to shield islam for being criticized.. What if we cant say muslims anymore..? Are we then supposed to call them Moose Limbs instead.. If this lunacy continues, it wouldn’t surprise me.
Burning a queeranne is so nineteen eighties. Seven years ago, I held a dunking the queeranne party. We had buckets of dog and human feces (I don’t know anyone that owns a swine confinement facility or the buckets would have contained pig sh-t). I had smoked thirty pounds of boneless pork loin and had two kegs of beer (only half of one of the kegs was consumed). Everyone was encouraged, at least the boys and men assuming that the girls and women would observe genteel propriety and opt out, to urinate into the buckets.
With a loudspeaker sound system, the following was recited, “There is but one satan and its name is allah. And, the lowest and most cowardly of its demons is mohammed”. Then, several queerannes were ceremoniously dropped into the buckets of swill comprised of dog feces and human urine. No money was wasted on the queerannes, as someone had gone to a local mohammedan center and told them that he and many of his friends were considering conversion. He walked away with thirteen copies, English and arapig – split page.
A marvelous time was had by all. Across the street a mohammedan family lived. They were not pleased. No laws or regulations were violated. They had called the police and there was nothing that the law enforcement officers could do. When the squad cars drove away, a cheer was raised and everyone shouted the shittada.
It was a wondrous day.
Would that have been allowed in the UK (United Khalifate)? Highly unlikely. It’s grand to be armed and having some fun with moslem (the lowest of ALL creatures) neighbors.
Alley-hoo-ackburrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Thank God for our First Amendment rights.
As Robert Spencer once said we are all only 5 SCOTUS justice votes away from having islamic blasphemy and heresy laws enacted here in the USA (under other auspices of course, perhaps outlawing “hate speech”). The constitutional crisis between islame and the 1st amendment will have the rotten, corrupt, commiecrats heading the charge on behalf of their moslame paymasters in the islamic petrocracies.
He’s right.
