‘SHARIA-COMPLIANT’ BRITAIN? Man convicted of blasphemy after burning quran outside Turkish consulate in London

The Defense attorney said Hamit Coskun should be protected to “express his personal criticism of Turkey and its stance on Islam” – and argued a conviction would effectively revive blasphemy (but only against Islam) laws.

SKY News Hamit Coskun was accused of shouting “f*** Islam” and “Islam is religion of terrorism” as he held up a burning copy of the holy Islamic text in Knightsbridge, London in February.
Delivering the verdict, district judge John McGarva said: “Your actions in burning the Koran where you did were highly provocative, and your actions were accompanied by bad language in some cases directed toward the religion and were motivated at least in part by hatred of followers of the religion.”
The National Secular Society (NSS), which paid his legal fees jointly with the Free Speech Union (FSU), called it a “significant blow to freedom of expression”.
In a statement issued through the FSU, Coskun said the decision would “deter others from exercising their democratic rights to peaceful protest and freedom of expression”. He vowed to “continue to campaign against the threat of Islam”.
“Christian blasphemy laws were repealed in this country more than 15 years ago and it cannot be right to prosecute someone for blaspheming against Islam,” he said. “Would I have been prosecuted if I’d set fire to a copy of the bible outside Westminster Abbey? I doubt it.”
Prosecutors had said Coskun had written on social media he was protesting the “Islamic extremist government” of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who had “made Turkey a base for radical Muslims and is trying to establish a Sharia regime”.

  5. Everyone should buy a Koran and then film it being burnt . I have a fire pit in my yard , I would like to film it and send the video to CAIR. Many drew the deviant prophet yrs ago , I wonder if people still have the will to put up with these subhumans? I do and I am sure people reading this do . Let’s just burn it and then upload to YouTube . They can’t get us all . Fuck Islam

  6. More power to Hamit Coskun. He’s my hero. As I said before, I do like the Turks more compared to the other Moslames, and Hamit would serve as a fine ambassador against Islam. I hope his life and well being are protected. It requires a lot of courage to take a stand against Islam in the United Caliphate.

      • If you relocated to Israel would you still be allowed to run your blog from there? It might not be a bad idea to plan for making aliyah, because who knows what’s going to happen in the mid-term elections or in the 2028 POTUS election.

        • I don’t see why I couldn’t run it from Israel. BNI isn’t banned in Israel as it is in some countries.

          As for the anti-Semitism, I’ve never seen it this bad, so thank God for Trump. I guess we could move to Israel if it gets worse after he leaves office. But we’ll probably be too old to make such a big move.

      • Forget Koran burning, recently a Hindu girl named Sharmistha Panoli who simply “sang praises” of the Prophet of Islam was arrested and humiliated by Indian Calcutta Police. They dragged her a distance of 1600 kilometers (1000 miles for your Americans) to make an example of her.

        The entire judiciary of India is complicit in this high-handed arrest, and they’ve decided to throw the book at a mere 22-year old girl, and the Moslames being Moslames are issuing her with death and rape threats. The followers of Islam go scot-free whenever they insult Hindu religion. Right here in India, we Hindus feel disrespected by the Prophet’s goons.

        I am sorry to say this we’re no different from UK or Canada at this point. Free speech is still a basic right in God’s freedom-loving country, the USA.

        I am so sick at the moment. There’s nothing I can do to deal with the Moslames around me who are enabled by the state traitors.

        • India kicked out their British overlords and replaced them w/something far worse: moslames.
          If U can’t publicly criticise or insult the islamic death cult or its holey prophet for profit then India really isn’t a free country is it? Because freedom of speech is something you have or you don’t, there’s no in-between. Sad.
          I feel sorry for Sharmistha Panoli, she’s a brave young woman.
          Maybe a petition for her release addressed to the entire free world (or what’s left of it)? I’d sign such a petition.

          • I’ve had many followers of Mohammed mock my beliefs on YouTube, Twitter, and other forums. But I could not respond to their provocations as it will blow my cover and cost me my job. Very stringent punishment for offending Moslames.

            The Moslames are HIGHLY ORGANIZED like a mafia team. The infidels on the other hand, are scattered, lonesome, and vulnerable. It’s easy for Moslames and their enablers to pick us apart.

            Getting doxxxed and cancelled will be your worst nightmare in 2025. The world is become more Moslame-friendly in the last 25 years.

            Moslames are silently winning the fight. They don’t even have to move a finger, but just wage population jihad on kuffar countries. They know the power of arithmetic, and can bide their time.

            The world as we know is about to end thanks to Moslame domination. That doesn’t mean Kuffar nations should give up.

            • I was called on the carpet at my Fortune 500 job for daring to publicly criticise the moslame death cult on their premises. I was lucky to not be fired.
              I remember it was around the time of the Mumbai massacre and the head of security said he could’ve developed procedures to stop the moslame terrorists in Mumbai — considering the moslame bastards had grenades, fully automatic weapons and lots of ammo I expressed my doubts about his position (which also wasn’t a good idea).
