My brother (MD, PhD) used to teach at Minnesota’s medical school. Visiting him, several years ago, he and a group of students had booked seats for a “We’re gonna win Twins” game. Of all of those young future physicians (don’t get sick anytime soon, they’re now probably fully through their residency), conversation after conversation about “diversity” and how wonderful “diversity” was. I told my brother that the next MF that said diversity would be shot and I didn’t whisper,. The only decent part of the game, is that they sold Grain Belt, something that I hadn’t had since working for Ed Kinsey when I was 15 or so.
Interesting, many of them were looteruhnns. So, I sang out one of my old favorites:
“Ten tousund svedes
runnin’ trew der veeds
bein’ chased by vun sooomawwwlee.”
The diversity crowd was not amused. My brother is now retired and is carried as “Professor Emeritus” and they still send him stationary with that on the letterhead. I must admit that I am somewhat envious, as this spring turkey season he bagged one of the largest toms that I have ever seen pictures of, in the wild. Jealous as all dickens I am. But, at least no “diversity looteruuns” and der soomawwlee friends.

Now, having moved back to small town Iowa (Williamsburg AKA “the burg”) and seems to enjoy being away from the “diversity” crowd.
Just yesterday, I saw a chunky Somalian woman in a hijab performing the duties of a school crossing guard in a decent neighborhood in Portland, Maine. At least she was “working”. My guess is that by assimilating a tiny bit they seem less threatening. Not a chance!
I have started seeing hijabi cashiers around here in stores, and even some halal food stores.
Also, Jodi Harpstead when she was in charge of Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to import Somalians into Minnesota.

Towards the end of the Obama years, and for some time after that, I read in numerous websites that Obama had secretly – and completely illegally – flown in hundreds of thousands of unvetted, illegal Muslims, mostly Somalians, and settled them into cities around the country, with a particular focus on Minnesota. Perhaps that wasn’t a conspiracy theory after all…
