The only politician in Canada I could vote for is Maxime Bernier. He once ran for the UCP party leadership, losing to Andrew Scheer. He then started the People’s Party of Canada. One time in pre election town hall some hijabi asks him if elected what would he do for the Islamic community.

Can’t remember all, but he has revoked many regulations that caused businesses to move their operations and manufacturing overseas and because of that several are moving back to the US. He is making his tax cuts for everyone permanent, he banned tranies from the US military, he is trying to stop trans women from competing against women in sports at every level, he brought gas prices way down by allowing energy companies to ‘drill baby drill, he is cutting a lot of the waste and unproductive personnel and agencies of government along with USAID, which funded them overseas, he revoked the resolution that would have forced car manufacturers to stop making gas powered cars by 2035 and scrapped many other EPA regulations that restricted what consumers want to buy, he untied the hands of law enforcement and border control…I could go on but I am using me cell phone, not my computer which would greatly increase this list.

As for the rest of Trump’s intent, EOs aren’t law. Lawmaking and taxation rests within your Congress. All Ive seen the man do is talk a good game and walk back bluster.

Never could understand how the good Canadian people would continue to vote Liberal after the utter failure of this party and their leader the shiny pony Trudeau. I think the previous election during Covid was stolen just like Trump.2020. Mail in ballots etc. TuRDeau was already scandal ridden. This election was more a referendum against Donald Trump and his 51st state rhetoric Canadians didn’t take Trump’s big mouth as a joke. America has invaded (and lost to) Canada three times. Which party had the toughest talk?
Do bear in mind though that the Liberal party didn’t win the popular vote.
