The Egyptian government is pretty smart I”d say. They do not want to jeopardize billions of dollars worth of income that they receive for transiting container ships through the Suez canal. Nor do they want to damage the positive brand associations with its unique tourism industry.
The Egyptian cops quickly detain and deport any foreign troublemakers like any normal country should.
They even comply with Israeli requests to block the convoys heading towards Rafah. Simultaneously, waving a placard “Welcome to Egypt” 😝 I’m quite impressed with the Egyptian authorities. 😉
