I believe at one point, Israel was allies w/the Persian Empire against the Byzantines. I’m not sure how long it lasted or what it entailed.
Iran’s govt is cruel and unforgiving. They torture people to death, rape female prisoners to death, cut off feet or hands for robbery, and continue to live in the barbaric 7th Century. If the govt should happen to be overthrown, there will be a lot of Iranian (Persian) people who will NOT cry. These people with their idiotic causes would not last 5 minutes under the Iranian regime. Most would probably starve to death as women are not allowed to leave the house without a male escort.
The silent majority, of Iran, breaks the silence. Thank you, God bless you and your family, while keeping them safe. Hopefully, this maddening war will be over soon, with a new, and democratic republic rising from the rubble. It would be the blessing of all blessings, to see peace in the Middle East, at least once in my lifetime.
