On June 16, 2025, New York City’s Times Square was overtaken by a mass rally in open support of the Islamic Republic of Iran. While I would agree most US Jews vote democratic, and the Republicans via their Evangelical base tend to side more with Israel, they all seem beholden to AIPAC in one form or another. America, from viewed from afar seems like “good cop -bad cop” politically speaking. I’ve never seen a single Democrat Prez ever shut down the three billion dollars a year Israel gets from the US.
I remember a few years ago Justin TuRDeau announced a trip to Israel. I stated a day prior TuRDeau would put on a kippa and visit the wailing wall. Sure enough he proved me right… and he is lefter than left.
