Germany’s new government on Wednesday said that it would reject most asylum seekers at its borders as conservative Chancellor Friedrich Merz seeks to limit irregular immigration and curb the rise of the so-called “far-right.” The move is a key part of Merz’s plans to wrest the initiative away from the anti-mass Muslim immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which came second in February’s general election and has continued to climb in the polls.
Breitbart (h/t Nita) Anyone who appears at the German border and says the word “asylum” should be given “due process”, ex-Chancellor Merkel said this week, in apparent condemnation of attempts by the current government of Friedrich Merz to stem the tide of illegal migration into the country.
Merz, who comes from the same neo-liberal Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party as Merkel, has invoked emergency EU powers to refuse entry of migrants to ensure the safety of the German public in the wake of several high-profile terror attacks committed by alleged asylum seekers over the past year.
Speaking at a conference with former refugees, Merkel joined the chorus of critics, accusing her successor of bowing to pressure from the anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party on the issue. “Yes, we have to reduce the number of illegal migration, but we still have to continue to represent our values,” she said.
Continuing, Merkel said: “If someone stands at the German border and says they need asylum, they must receive the proper due process. “As far as I’m concerned, the process can take place at the border itself, but a process must take place.”
Merkel, who led the country for 16 years, has long faced criticism for her open borders agenda, in which she flung open the gates to over a million migrants from the Middle East and Africa during the European Migrant Crisis of 2015.
Such was the scale of the move that around one in every five people living in the country is foreign-born. It becomes even more stark when looking at those with a “migration background” (either migrants or people with at least one migrant parent), who now account for 30 per cent of the population of Germany.
In addition to negatively impacting working-class Germans, the influx of millions of foreigners has also, at times, come with violent consequences. Just last year, alone, migrants were implicated in the terror attacks in Mannheim, Solingen, Magdeburg, Aschaffenburg, and Munich.
That is the outcome when you take out of a diktatorship the people and let them become chancellor of a free nation. what did all expect here. merkel was and is a stasi worker and your country America has the orders and files to this but we germans dont get them or even to take a look at them …why is that so. think about it , your country could have saved my country from all of this. this womans family ran from the west to the east because they where communists and merkel learned the system, she got to study and to travel abroad and that could only do hardcore stasi workers. germany is going once again socialistic and this thing called merkel was the starter in this program. the quilty ones sit in high places in foreighn countries.
I hope that Merkel becomes the victim of a moslem peace truck attack.
It’s not well known but along with France, Germany too used the guillotine for capital punishment. If one still exists in a German museum, dust it off, oil it up, and stick Merkel in it. She deserved it a long time ago. A fitting way to go for importing head choppers I think.

I don’t know what the thinking is behind the figure, one in five, but my guess at the numbers would be more like four in five. Germany, and France, have committed suicide, and residents will leave the Country, rather than pay welfare to the worthless slackers, and put up with the rapes, stabbings, Sharia Law, and other Muslim attributes.
