Germany’s birth rate is plummeting, reaching a concerning 1.35 children per woman in 2023; however, the situation is even more critical for women with German citizenship, whose fertility rate has hit a 30-year low. The new data closely aligns with new predictions from Thilo Sarrazin, the former Bundesbank board member who authored the 2010 book “Deutschland schafft sich ab” (“Germany Is Abolishing Itself”). He now predicts that by 2070, 80 percent of births will be to non-German mothers.
The Federal Statistical Office’s data shows that only 677,117 children were born in Germany last year, a 2 percent drop from the previous year. This ongoing decline paints a stark picture for Germany’s future demographics, especially for German citizens.
For women with German citizenship, the fertility rate now stands at just 1.23 children, a level not seen since 1996.
Meanwhile, for women with foreign citizenship, the fertility rate is 1.84, which is close to replacement.
Despite the falling birth rate and record deaths, Germany is seeing its population continuously increase due to mass Muslim immigration, which is radically shifting the demographic situation.
As reported by Remix News, Sarrazin reflected on his earlier work in an interview with Czech media, noting that while he was broadly right in his projections, the scale and pace of immigration — particularly since the 2015 crisis — have outstripped his original calculations.
He noted that his demographic model had assumed annual net immigration of between 50,000 and 100,000 people, based on official forecasts at the time. In the decade since, however, Germany has averaged 500,000 new arrivals per year, a majority of whom come from outside the European Union and from predominantly Muslim-majority countries.
He predicts that by 2070, roughly 80 percent of all births will be to non-German mothers, with the majority being Muslim. “That is my estimate today, but… the situation could get even worse. For example, if another sudden wave of mass immigration comes,” he warned.
This demographic dread is igniting political firestorms. Fears of cultural erasure and overburdened systems continue to rally conservative support towards the anti-Muslim immigration party, Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD), as Fredrich Merz’s government fails to tackle these issues.

The birthrate is irellevant then the import of more than one million every year does the work and when the left green side gets in a wad that we have schools with about 2% germans left or that the school has 100% mudslime is not seen. we could give birth to many children but the tiger has been let loose and no matter what we do we lose then the import is what gives us this end. they get pregnant on the way and when they come they give birth and the new one is automaticlly a german with a german pass, that lets the mother have all our rights and she lets us bring her family of 30 to us and they when they get here they want their families too and we fly them in so you see the birthrate is not of big importance here because we are the minority in all big cities here and soon in all our little towns then they are sending them to us because our cities are overfull. not to forget the giving of our passport after three years of being here. they dont have to be able to speak one word german and they dont have to work for a living then as our own politician said the german goes to work for him. you see its our own government that forces this upon us and dont come to me with standing up then were are you standing up ,in new york or minneapolis were soon mayors of that color are voted in.

What’s worse, women with “German citizenship” can be foreigners, mainly Turkish. German women are busy travelling, finding meaning, experiencing, following the latest trends in protest and marches. Having kids won’t let her travel as often and protest for the next greenwashing event.
