I am well acquainted with the sinking of the Reuben James. America while claiming to be a neutral non-beligerant was in fact escorting UK bound convoys carrying war materiel. The Reuben James was there to try and depth charge U-boats. It was at war and became a casualty of an undeclared war. Hitler was dumb enough to make it official after Pearl Harbor. Fair game to me as I see it, it’s a warship in a war.
The USS Liberty affair isn’t much for comparison. It wasn’t a warship. It was a defenseless surveillance ship. Moreover it was attacked when it wasn’t a belligerent or party to any conflict. It was also a false flag operation to frame Egypt for the crime. I noticed how you pointed out how the Liberty failed to sink. That statement sounds very callous considering how many sailors were killed, wounded and permanently disfigured that day.

115 sailors died on the USS Reuben James, only 34 died on the Liberty and while the Liberty sailed into an active war zone (the Six Day War) the Reuben James was sailing in neutral, international waters. Additionally, the Nazis torpedoed four other US flagged Merchantmen, sinking ALL of them.

I strongly FEAR that it will HAVE TO come to a Europe-wide combination of St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacres (1572/08/24) AND the rest being deported to Somalia (they MUST be put where they CAN’T try to again invade Europe!!!!).
