SKY News (h/t Nita)Dozens of machete bins have popped up across Victoria as the state continues to face a growing crime crisis despite the Allan government’s ban on the deadly weapons. Some of the locations include Prahran, Footscray, Dandenong, the city of Casey and the City of Geelong which have been riddled with home invasions and knife crime.
Northland Shopping Centre in Preston was plunged into lockdown on May 25, when a machete-wielding fight broke out between rival gangs, forcing terrified shoppers to hide in stores.
The same day in South Melbourne, a woman was shot dead by police after officers responded to reports of a man brandishing a machete on Cecil Street.
This year police have seized a record number of illegal weapons from the streets of Victoria with an average of at least 44 knives confiscated each day. Police have previously said the number of knives seized this year is expected to exceed 2024 figures of a total of 14,805.

The main questions should be , why are they importing this into our countries and why do they give them the many rights that belonged to us until they came. ask these questions and you might be surprized at the answers when you get any. the thing is to hide this violence like saying it was one man or many one men. then they take the victim and make a crimminal out of him or her and not to forget to put the rest of the nation under antisemantic and raccist accusations and most of all you must set the state payed media rolling and dont forget to set all your payed orgs like all nwo, ngo, and the antifa in the picture. do this and you have europe at its best. with all of this what can any nation do to defend itself from this invasion??.
I know the English language evolves. Perhaps faster than I can keep up with. But calling a chunk of metal dangerous (inherently) is like calling your pencil stupid when you failed your math test.

Blaming the knife for cutting your finger is as stupid as blaming the knife for being used to stab somebody.
Try looking at WHO was holding the knife and WHY they used it in such a manner against WHOM…

It’s strange how Fwance has strict gun control and yet the f’ing moslames seem to have no problems getting a hold of firearms to commit their acts of terrorism (incl. fully automatic rifles like those used at the Bataclan theater terrorist attack and the Charlie Hebdo magazine offices attack).
As for AUS, they’re solving the symptoms of the problem rather than the disease.
That is so stupid. The muslims aren’t like the Christians who voluntaritly gave up their guns. No way. Isn’t it ‘unbelievable’ that a western country has to develop and implement a program to rid a western nation of machetes owned by the muslim and african scum they settled all over Australia. Those kinds of programs usually involve monetary reimbursement for the weapons, the only reason law-abiding citizens have to turn them in. The criminals don’t turn them in whether there is money involved or not. So it’s a stupid idea.
The only age group, that is under 18, allowed to purchase cutlery are 17 year old Scottish students of the culinary arts.
The only knife that is legally allowed to be carried, is a folding knife that is at, or under, 2.5 inches in blade length and it must not be a “locking blade”.
A carpenter or woodsman are allowed a hatchet, but only on the way to the “jobsite” and to return, either to their home or shop.
I used to know a convicted felon, he had a firearm, purchased for him by his wife. Another felon, affiliated w/a black street gang, carried a nickel plated 45 in his waistband, he told me he was a police officer.
When firearms are outlawed, only criminals will have firearms. I believe this is an NRA slogan.
