Renowned author of “Londonistan,” Melanie Phillips is a British public commentator with a distinguished career in journalism. She began her professional journey writing for The Guardian and New Statesman and currently contributes to The Times, The Jerusalem Post, and The Jewish Chronicle, as well as BBC media, focusing on political and social issues.
In recognition of her journalistic contributions, she was awarded the Orwell Prize for Journalism in 1996 while writing for The Observer. Her other published works include the memoir Guardian Angel: My Story, My Britain.

I’d call it the degenerate, immoral, cowardly, atheist West that perhaps deserves to die at the hands of the moslames.
I believe that she was the woman attacked by muslims in London, way back in 1980(?). She had held up a placard stating FREE SPEECH. They rushed at her shouting : “Kill, kill”. An off-duty policeman saved her. The muslims were just given a slap on their Islamic wrists by Thatcher Home Secretary Willie Whitelaw.
Melanie is bold, brilliant, courageous, and correct!
