Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the United States is “in the works” for designating the Muslim Brotherhood, with which CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) is closely affiliated, a “terrorist organization.”
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee introduced the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025. This bill implements a new modernized strategy for designating Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group. The bill directs the Secretary of State to take a targeted approach to investigate and designate any arms of the Muslim Brotherhood (including CAIR, Muslim American Society, Muslim Students Association, and more) as Foreign Terrorist Organizations that do not currently carry the designation but should under the law.

Sen. Cruz said, “The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization, and it provides support to Muslim Brotherhood branches that are terrorist organizations. One of those branches is Hamas, which on October 7 committed the worst single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, which included the murder and kidnapping of at least 53 Americans. They are committed to the overthrow and destruction of America and other non-Islamic governments across the world, and pose an acute threat to American national security interests. American allies in the Middle East and Europe have already labeled the Brotherhood a terrorist organization, and the United States should do the same, and do so expeditiously.”
Joining Sen. Cruz were Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR), John Boozman (R-AR), Rick Scott (R-FL), Ashley Moody (R-FL), Dave McCormick (R-PA), and Elise Stefanik (D-NY)
House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik released the following statement: “I strongly support the Trump administration in designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. Long overdue. Thank you President Trump for this important and decisive leadership to protect our national security.”
Sen. Cotton said, The Muslim Brotherhood preaches death to Israel, the United States, and other western governments. These are the statements of a terrorist group, and they should be labeled as such.”

Consider Hamas. Hamas is not merely inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood — it is the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian-Arab branch. This is not the rhetoric of nuance or moderation. This is the ideological foundation of contemporary jihadism. Yet, while Hamas is rightly designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S. State Department, other branches of the Muslim Brotherhood remain off the list.

What’s more, CAIR — an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history — has extremely well-documented ties to the Brotherhood. And yet CAIR agents continue to operate freely in the United States, masquerading as civil rights advocates while pushing Islamist narratives that undermine the core constitutional principles of equality that they purport to champion. Today, almost two years after CAIR-linked Hamas executed the Oct. 7 pogrom in Israel, CAIR remains in good standing with many elected Democrats.

Andy’s OP post is very disturbing. It reminds me of a Swiss-Canadian man I spent time with a few months ago. One night he got drunk and poured out all his anti-semitic views as if I would agree with him..So toxic I can’t write them here not even while reporting those statements he made.
This mental disease among Europeans who look perfect otherwise is far more common than one would imagine.
I know another Christian female from Romania. We work together even though in different countries and collaborate sometimes. She’s wonderful to me, always inquires about Indian culture, music, food and whatever.
She doesn’t like Moslames which has brought us closer. But she doesn’t like the Jews either.

I believe the current rise in Jew hatred in Europe is the direct result of mass Muslim immigration to Europe. It’s the same in the US now but not anywhere as bad as the EU & UK, at least not yet but is going in that direction.
Over here in India, we receive and host over a million Israeli visitors, including IDF conscripts, for many of whom India is a rite of passage. They seek spirituality and stuff. Across many holy Hindu towns like Varanasi, Chamba, Kasol and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, you can now see street signs in Hebrew. Many Israelis also stay long term. If you were to run an anti-Islam blog here, they will probably give you 100 percent tax break.
Thailand is another country where Israelis and other Jewish people would feel very welcome.
