Tlaib is also part of a secret social media group in which its members have glamorized Hamas in its war battle with Israel after the terror group attacked and killed hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians last month, Fox News Digital has found.
The Michigan Democrat is a member of the Palestinian American Congress group on Facebook. The group is hidden from non-members and does not appear on the platform’s search engine, though Fox News Digital was able to gain access to it.
The group’s founder, Maher Abdel-qader, who has extensive ties to Tlaib and has also been linked to other liberal politicians, has come under fire in the past for his antisemitic social media posts, including questioning if the Holocaust ever occurred.
The weekend-long conference, organized by a coalition of radical pro-Hamas terrorist groups, drew scrutiny for featuring extremist voices alongside Tlaib, including convicted Muslim terrorists and anti-American activists who openly called for dismantling U.S. institutions.

Other radical speakers at the conference echoed her rhetoric. The research is Gaza. The time is today for a free Palestine. The time is today to liberate the university. The time is today for decolonization.”

JPost The 2nd annual People’s Conference in Palestine in Detroit saw toned-down vile rhetoric compared to last year’s conference in terms of support for violence and terrorist organizations. Nevertheless, the August 29-31 event attended by leaders of the anti-Israel activist community still saw elements of pro-terrorist and anti-American sentiment during panels and speeches.
“We demand a two-way arms embargo. We demand complete economic and political sanctions on Israel, on its military, and on its leadership.”
Palestinian Youth Movement organizer Lameess Mehanna said that the movement had been able to weaken the “basis of support for Israel” by casting Zionism as genocidal, and Piker explained that Israeli institutions and corporations had to be removed completely from campuses and that all ties with Israel had to be severed entirely.
Another PYM representative said that every sector had to become a front for confronting Zionism, explaining that the strategy was to achieve “liberation” by making the “cost of occupation” higher “than the cost of liberation.”
