You have to understand not all “whites” are the same.
All people are identifiable by their culture and habits. The epidermal layer of their skins, ie the concentration of a pigment called Melanin, or the relative lack of it (it’s not totally absent in so-called “white” populations) is not a factor to love or hate anyone.
I do not have any problems with someone from Poland, Russia, Finland, Czech, or many such European countries even though they happen to be “white” as you put it. It’s because their people have never wronged mine. I have no reason to hate them. With the British, it is not so. I have plenty of reasons to hate them, but none of it has anything to do with their being “white.” I don’t even notice skin colour when interacting with people.
I do not have any problems with someone from Egypt, Moslames included, because they never wronged me. Gunga Din is a beautiful poem. The character dies in the line of duty in the end which was a touching moment. I also saw the black and white Hollywood film. I think it was rather well made.

I was of the belief that “Patel” was a surname. Do you still have a caste system in India? I dated three Patels and, as far as I knew, none of them were related. I was under the opinion that it was the American equivalent of Smith or Jones, just a common surname. They were all forkin’ gorgeous and intelligent, but a bit clingy.
As far as a japaner wife, it did take me a long time to adjust to removal of shoes at the door, but after a decade I am shocked when I visit a friend and they tell me that I don’t have to do that, as I automatically just take them off. (an aside here, when she/we were young and I had forgotten to remove my shoes, she would smile, almost bow and sweetly remind me to remove them Now it’s half an hour of screaming … dont even ask about tobacco consumption then v now)

AM, speaking of old habits die hard re: Japan…when I got back to NYC after living in Japan, I’d get out of a taxi and forget to shut the door behind me because I was used to the automatic doors in a Japanese taxis. The NYC cabbies would screan at me every time I did that. 🤣
While with Shimizu, I was furnished with car and driver, so I rarely took a takashi. Whether the doors closed automatically or not, I always slam a door behind me. Even if they were hydraulic slow close, I’d slam ’em just the same.
This year will be our 50th. Man, has she changed. I, of course, am still the sweet boy that I once was. If anything, I have changed for the better. Removal of shoes, prior to entry. No smoking inside my house, whether cigarettes or pipe. Moreover, I have learned not to shout back while being screamed at. I used to be able to find another room in which to hide. Now, I get followed, no escape.
I just laugh at people that believe Japanese women are kind, gentle, and subservient. Not in my universe, but ya gotta love ’em just the same. Still the best thing that ever happened to me.

“Patel” can be both a surname and a caste. Those who belong to the Patel caste msy have surnames ending with “-ani” but again not all “-ani’s” are Patel. It’s best to ask when in doubt, “are you a fucking Patel?”
