am in the process of putting my life experiences with the horse in Montana to words , book form when it is done , you Bonni girl will be among the first to lay eyes on it … hopefully as a horse woman you will be able to see how it was .
I’ve always found Appaloosas to be kind of quirky, but nice. I got bucked off an Arabian horse many years ago, which broke my back in 3 places and my pelvis. I often wondereed if he knew I was Jewish? LOL
Back when I was a young lad, to get Arab registry (remember that was when American Quarter Horses and American Saddlebreds were the big game in town (or in the country), it only required proof of 25% Arab bloodline. Uncle Mike kinda got into that one and gave me a young filly. (It was an outright gift, as he paid me cash monies for chopping thistles from his pastures and baling hay.) She was white with cream spots and I named her, not the most original of names, “White Fawn”. She had the requisite 25%(plus) and I planned on having an Arab stud drop by. Unfortunately, she was stabled with a half Morgan half Shetland stud …. and that’s the rest of the story.
That jumper could be Bonnie. 🤔
I wish! The highest fences I ever jumped were about 4 feet high.
the horse has with me in my 80 years of life … no regrets only thankful .
🥰

On another note is that leopard spotted horse real?
I believe so.
My mother’s first cousin, we called him “Uncle Mike” raised Appaloosas. They only had spots of their butts. But …………………..

I like Arabian horses because they are fast and feisty.
Until they get knocked up by a half Shetland.
