Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year (5786), begins at sundown tonight.
On Rosh Hashanah, Jews all over the world celebrate God’s creation of the world. Jews bless one another with the Hebrew words L’shanah Tovah Tikateiv Veteichateim, which translates: “May you be inscribed and sealed in the book of life for an another good year.” At its core, is the teaching that God gives you second chances and invites everyone to do the same.
Despite its holiness, even Rosh Hashanah isn’t off limits to Jewish humor.

1948 was pretty damn dark for Israel. No one thought Israel would win the War of Independence.

I don’t know anything about Judaism but all the Jews I ever met, whether Israel or the United States, were most wonderful people.
Hope Jehovah (is that the right term) knocks some common sense into your Moslame adversaries so that they do not prolong this unnecessary conflict, choosing peace instead.
