To anyone living outside of the UK, especially those in the USA the following may be difficult to believe :-
It is ILLEGAL in the UK to carry ANYTHING that could be construed as a weapon or could be used to defend yourself. Unless you could prove you were on the way to a cricket match carrying a cricket bat would get you arrested.
A few years ago a farmer was attacked in his home by gun armed burglars they beat him up and tied him to a chair. He got free managed to wrestle a gun from one of the attackers, it went off and the burglar was seriously wounded.
The farmer was arrested!!!!!
If you do anything to defend yourself in the UK you will be arrested whilst people from a particular culture who attack people with knives are let off with suspended sentences
Thanks, Andy, for confirming what we’ve been seeing out of the UK for the past few years. Are these policies causing people to leave the country in any significant numbers? I would blame the Labour Party for these policies, but when the Conservatives were in power, I don’t think it was all that different? Am I wrong?

One of my favorites, from the United Khalifate, was when a retired plumber, a pensioner, had his home invaded. His 78 year old wife was upstairs and had mobility issues, he was partially blind. He went downstairs to investigate and was grabbed by one of the two home invaders. Each of the two were armed with knives. One of them attempted to stab the pensioner, he was able to grab and wrestle with the one that was attempting to stab him.
On a shelf of the kitchen, above the counter, was a phillips head screw driver. He was able to grab it and stab the perpetrator, striking him in the neck.
Upon the smoke clearing he called the United Khalifate’s “brave bobbies”. Around half an hour, following the phone report, those “courageous bobbies” arrived. They handcuffed the pensioner, doing nothing to the surviving home invader.
They charged the half-blind pensioner with murder.

Brits I know you can’t have guns and that would be the ultimate solution to this Islamic craziness, ya’ll need to start looking at everyday items that you can use as weapons. For example wasp spray shoots a distance of about 25 feet. So you have some standoff room and I would use it to spray in their eyes. You can make your own pepper spray with vegetable oil and cayenne pepper – and don’t be skimpy on the pepper. Of course there is stuff that is much stronger to use like bleach, ammonia, sugar soap, toilet bowl cleaner. Other wicked ideas include a baseball bat wrapped in barbed or razor wire – just be careful not to cut yourself. The object is to make it so the attacker can be subdued… Maybe they’re a person who just needed killing.
This kind of violence against people who don’t believe in Islam are fair game.
