Raymond Ibrahim, Middle East expert, explains why it is important and why the Trump Administration should follow suit. Even several Muslim countries have designated these groups as “terrorist organizations.”

Ibrahim, an Egyptian – American Coptic Christian, has been target of CAIR for many years. Declared an “unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Islamic terrorism funding case” the Council on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR”) contacted the U.S. Army War College and other government and military institutions, demanding the cancellation of Ibrahim’s speaking engagements. The organization accused Ibrahim of being an “Islamophobe” and a “disseminator of inaccurate, ahistorical, anti-Muslim rhetoric” due to his fact-based writings and lectures on Islamic history and warfare.
Ibrahim has written books such as Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West, and The Al Qaeda Reader. CAIR characterizes his work as promoting anti-Muslim sentiment, simply because he documents the history of conflict and the persecution of Christians in the Middle East.
