It was all about hatred for, intimidation of, and threats to Jews, similar to the hate-filled mobs that would gather outside synagogues in Nazi Germany in the 1930’s. The only reason the protest did not break out into violence was because of the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group, an anti-terrorism group that NYC Mayor-elect Mamdani has vowed to disband when he takes office.
What happened last night at Park East Synagogue is horrifying. This was not a protest. This wasn’t about policy, and this was not about Israel. This was a mob of people openly targeting Jews, a mob that gathered outside a synagogue, chanting, threatening and intimidating a religious community for being Jewish.
You do not surround a synagogue if your issue is foreign policy. You do that when your goal is to terrorize Jews. This is bloodthirsty, hate-driven fanaticism by the very same people who want to exterminate all the Jews in the world.

The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, 18 U.S.C. § 248, is commonly known for protecting access to reproductive-health clinics, but the FACE Act also protects houses of worship including churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other religious buildings. If the Biden administration can have old ladies arrested for a peaceful protest outside of an abortion clinic, claiming that the protest “intimidated” those that were ere seeking abortions, the feds should step in here full force and arrest all those protesting Muzzies and charge them accordingly.
