Israel has released footage of the October 7th Hamas terror attacks that rebukes Hamas claims denying civilian killings, child deaths, and sexual violence.

The Israel Defense Forces released graphic video footage Saturday showing Hamas attacks on civilians during the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre, directly challenging a newly published Hamas report that denies targeting civilians. The IDF post accompanied 11 minutes of previously released footage showing acts of violence against civilians.

JNS (h/t Nita) The military said the 11-minute video represents “a fraction” of documented events from the Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist attack that killed more than 1,200 people in Israel, including 348 young found murdered at the Supernova music festival site. Another 251 people were kidnapped to Gaza.

The response came after Hamas released a 42-page document on Dec. 24 rejecting allegations that its fighters intentionally targeted civilians, hospitals or schools during the cross-border assault. The Hamas report, shared by the head of Euro‑Med Human Rights Monitor, Ramy Abdu, claims terrorists were instructed to avoid civilian targets, and calls for International Criminal Court or independent investigation of casualty claims.

“These are not allegations. These are documented events,” the IDF stated in its post.

Times of Israel The harrowing full-length 44-minute montage has been shown at the UN in New York and Geneva, in Washington, Berlin, Brussels, Madrid and the Chilean capital Santiago, with a further screening in Paris for the press on Tuesday. It has also been shown to Israeli lawmakers in a closed-door session at the Knesset, with some leaving in tears, and was first shown two weeks ago to some 200 members of the foreign press in Israel.

The deeply shocking film screened by Israel is not available to the general public. In Paris, it was seen by around 50 invited journalists, while it has been seen by a mixed audience of journalists and diplomats in other cities. It includes gruesome scenes of families huddled together in death, scorched bodies and mutilated victims, including children and babies.

The screen showed a series of bloodied, burned and tormented bodies of men, women and children. Lying in bushes, living rooms and bathrooms, many no longer resembled human forms. One clip showed a meters-long trail of blood across brightly colored floor tiles.

The Israeli government says it has gathered hundreds of hours of footage of the Hamas onslaught.
