Never had a cat or a dog. I guess my childhood sucked. 😂
My first guy-friend had 2 cats and one of them was really skittish around me, so this in return freaked me out
I’ve always been afraid of German Shepherds. When I was a kid riding my bike in the street, one of them jumped out of the bushes and dragged me off my bike and bit me several times. After that happened, we learned that the same dog had attacked several other people in the neighborhood, and the owner was forced to put him down. But I love most dogs now,

If im gunna be honest I thought u were gonna laugh at me for being freaked by a cat 😄
it just set me on edge cause I didn’t know what it was gonna do. We were okay after I had to feed it one time.. (this was the.male cat, the female one was no problem)
its just a fun memory that comes up sometimes, its very old memory now, during 1st Bush term
I’m never really liked cats all that much. But a friend of mine has a cat that won’t get close to any people except her husband. Every time I go there, the cat comes over and jumps in my lap and stays there for as long as I am sitting down, kind of daring me not to like him. I’ve grown to like him very much for his sense of humor.
My parents are really pretty weird and we live in a bad house… not very clean.(there are worse, but ours is bad)
They’d probably forget to feed the damn thing if they got a pet dog. I’m not joking sadly
And my mom’s bedbound now. These weird things are also the reasons I’m having sentimental End-of-year chatter with someone I’ve never met instead of them. 😀
Taking care of elderly, unwell parents isn’t easy. Most of us have been through it and no matter how hard it is, you miss them when they’re gone no matter how hard life with them has been.
