The United States just announced a $2 billion pledge for U.N. humanitarian aid, down from as much as $17 billion it has contributed to the UN in previous years.
Independent Sentinel (h/t Nita) In response, the UN Rapporteur for Gaza just asked the UN to isolate the United States! This is a good start as we isolate our funds. Hopefully that also means the United Nations will vacate its headquarters in New York City so it can be turned into needed housing for New Yorkers.
In 2025, the U.S. contributed about $3.38 billion to U.N.humanitarian efforts. That was down from the $14.1 billion the U.S. sent in 2024. This month, the U.N. announced that it was seeking $23 billion in funding to meet its goals and reach more than 87 million people at risk worldwide. That request was down from the $47 billion the organization sought in 2025.
President Trump’s administration continues to slash U.S. foreign assistance and warns United Nations agencies to “adapt, shrink or die” in a time of new financial realities. The United States also pays billions in annual dues related to its U.N. membership, way more than any other UN member.
This is a good first step but I hope that Trump withdraws the US from this accursed outfit totally. And give them an ultimatum to vacate valuable US real estate in NY. The UN is the equivalent of millions of Islamist invaders flooding our nation under the guise of refugees and being a permanent pest on our nation. The US pays the most as fees to this organization and has precious little to show for it, other than perhaps exerting their veto against all those illegitimate sanctions against Israel. When has this outfit stood by us? Even the village idiot GB2 ignored the UN when he invaded and overthrew Saddam. The proper place for the UN is Saudi Arabia, or North Korea.
I used to live a half block away from the UN and the protests there on the weekends would wake me up early in the morning.
Yet another evidence that this outfit has more in common with Islamists that we give them credit for. Who else wakes us up early in the morning with their call to preyers? 🙂
One has to wonder, with all of the aid given to the poor countries, why haven’t these poor countries improved? Is it because their governments don’t need to do anything to help their people because of all the free money they receive? Maybe if they didn’t get all of the aid the governments might try to improve the lives of their citizens.
There’s a good chance a lot of the aid money goes into the pockets of the leaders.
Great news! UN, ICRC, AI, MSM, human rights and “green” corrupted organizations should be defunded, abolished and prosecuted! They have been supporting and financing terrorists and dictators for decades, never lifted a finger for their victims! If anybody wants or have interest in helping people in another countries, they can help in their name, not in the name of these hostile organizations.
Doing a happy dance at this news. Wish US would go all the way and throw the UN out of our nation.

Nobody believes the figures the UN is making up, they lie almost as much as Democrats. I couldn’t agree more about defunding all the wasteful “programs” we have been sucked into supporting over the years, but it’s time to stop it all. Use the money we save, to pay for deportations! Start with Somalian childcare workers in Minneapolis.
Cut all funding to these criminals at the UN, they are leaches and produce NOTHING.
Meanwhile, here in Canada, our PM Carney raises the contributions with money we no longer have.

The USA would do well to withdraw entirely from both of them – and EVICT them plus ALL their member-organizations (FAO, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, ILO, IAEA et al) from American soil – and the sooner the better!!!! Trump is doing not a little good for his country – BRAVO!!!! The USA has “lucked out” on him after the duds of the Bushes, Obama & Biden plus Clinton… I’ll dare say that even Reagan is not quite up to Trump’s standard this second time around (and Reagan was quite good overall)!!!
