Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) completely embarrassing a woke Democrat witness, Brendan Ballou, during a hearing by exposing a series of incontrovertible facts regarding the large-scale welfare-dependent Somali community in Minnesota.
GatewayPundit (h/t Nita) On Wednesday, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held its first hearing on the widespread fraud in Minnesota’s social services programs in the Somali community. At least $9 BILLION has been stolen from Minnesota taxpayers under the watch of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and state Democrats.
Not surprisingly, Ballou took the politically correct approach and claimed the thousands of freeloading Somali migrants make Minnesota stronger.
Gill then brought out the receipts and proceeded to completely embarrass Ballou with some actual facts. For example, he noted that 54% of Somalis are on food stamps, 73% on Medicaid, and 81% are on welfare in general. He then compared these numbers to those of native Minnesotans, who consume a far lower percentage of government programs.
Notice how the newly-designed Minnesota flag looks a lot like the flag of Somalia.
