I was once in my city’s building permits department and was talking to a rep. there. I asked her if and when any mosques were consecrated what they would do about the 5 times a day daily call to preyer beginning at sunrise. She was shocked at my question but only because she wasn’t a pig-ignorant kufar as she had spent time in Turkey. She had no answer to my question.

This early morning call out to preyers is particularly hard on the elderly, the sick, students and particularly canines which react badly to these sounds. I wish there is some sort of federal law that can ensure that this does not happen. Dearborn and Hamtramck has shown the way, and going by the recent brazen report about Islamist only subdivisions in Dallas, it follows that this model is going to spread to other cities.
