Female hygiene products were placed in the faculty lounge of the University of MInnesota Medical School. My brother had put up with the new first year pledge of the incoming students, as opposed to the Hippocratic Oath, it dealt with “stolen land” and the rights of People of Color and the Indigenous tribes. However, when he walked in and saw a full range of products, not just tampons but products like “female intimate deodorant spray”, he tendered his resignation. Since his contract held him for two more years, he had to stay.
And, those products were free-of-charge. I jokingly told him that that practice should have occurred prior to his wife “aging out”.
