Under Greco-Roman European rule, Egypt was circa 100% Christian. Under British rule, it was around 20% Christian. Today, it’s less than 5% Christian.

Her stories about the persecution her family experienced at the hands of the f’ing moslames in Iran were particularly disturbing, although the biography of my Jewish WW2 veteran friend’s Egyptian Jewish wife topped that by a country mile.
