From what I understand the blasphemy charge is widely misused for usurping infidel properties of kaffirs like Christians, Sikhs and Hindus. It does not take much of an evidence either – just hearsay evidence, and rumors are enough to get a crowd into a frenzy, the police swing into action, arrest the victim, throw him/her into prison and the lands of the victims are swallowed by the preps.
