Animals have feelings and most are extreme sensible and they know how to act accordingly, thats why i set my trust in animals then they are for real and not like humans who act.
Horses arenât generally mean but some of them can be bullies to other horses. My husband had a horse who was a sweetheart around people but became the alpha horse when turned out with other horses. If one horse got picked on by the other horses, he would protect the weak one and then challenge the bullies to take him on instead. Sometimes bites or kicks were involved but after a day or two, the bullies never bothered the weak one again.
There was one horse in the barn who didnât like anyone going into his stall or even petting him. This is usually the result of some person treating the horse badly. I observed his bad behavior towards humans for awhile and realized he put his ears back in anger when you looked him in the eye. So I would sit on the trunk in front of stall with my back to him and feed him carrots over my shoulder without ever looking him in the eye. After a few weeks he started whinnying when ever I entered the barn in a good way. In a few weeks he stopped pinning his ears back at people and became a lot friendlier in general.

yep and when you treat them as your equal (not to humanize) and to give them your time, then most animals will be your friend. i once had a sick puma that would get crazy when anyone came to his pen. i slept in front of it and i spent many hours talking to him and after a fe weeks he let me get near him but not to touch him then he was a wild animal and that all must respect. the end of the story is that he hung around my hause until he died of old age and he never ever attacked one thing on my property..not even my chickens. you see animals are the better humans.

At least I’ll know how to act around horses now. I wouldn’t want to see a Clydesdale angry!
