As the children of Cyrus, the Iranian people aspire to have a government that honours his legacy of upholding human rights and respecting religious and cultural diversity, including through the restoration of peaceful and friendly relations with Israel and Iran’s other neighbours in the region.”

I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Reza Pahlavi is a Twelver Shia Muslim, and while he might not share their fanatical, apocalyptic religious beliefs, the fact that he still identifies as that type of Muslim is bad news. Hopefully, the Iranian people have had enough of Islam, any flavor, and will demand a secular government. We’ll see. In the meantime, never trust a Muslim.
