CBN Frustrated New York City residents are flooding social media with complaints about the Islamic call to prayer blasting from mosque loudspeakers during Ramadan. Muslims defend the broadcasts as their First Amendment right to religious freedom and cultural identity.
However, a former Muslim, Danny Burmawi, explained that this is primarily a tool for asserting political dominance rather than fulfilling religious devotion. “As long as Islam is categorized as a religion, exclusively a religion, then there’s nothing New Yorkers can do.”
Burmawi believes these broadcasts from mosques should be compared to if communists broadcast political messages through loudspeakers, which are not allowed in New York City neighborhoods. Many are asking what can be done to ensure most New Yorkers can live their lives in peace, without being disturbed by the Muslim call to prayer.
Burmawi believes the answer will not come from their new mayor, who is both a Muslim and a declared Democratic Socialist. “His allegiance to Islam comes first. It’s at the top of the list of, what, what gives you identity. So he will keep pushing for the normalization of Islam in the public square in New York, in a thousand different ways.”

I left NY for TX 27 years ago. I saw what was happening. The only steady, good paying jobs were NY State government employees. Property taxes, state sales taxes, NY State income taxes through the roof. (All upstate NYers wanted was to fill the potholes.)
Where are all the Christian church leaders, none left in the City? Ring those beautiful bells all over town when the “newcomers” start their crap at 5am. Cowards!
Here’s the deal. I did not and NEVER would vote for barak hussein obimbo, yet that vile creature served two terms.
Neither did I vote for that violent rapist, Willum Jefferson Clownton, but that rapist of women (settlements paid out kinda confirm. Not hush money but settlements), did two terms even after it was public knowledge that he perpetrated perjury before a federal grand jury. Which, is something that most Americans would serve seven-to-ten.
It’s simply the way America swings. We ain’t known to be the sharpest machetes in the shed.
