Islam was not the original religion of Iran, but it became the dominant religion after the Arab invasion in the 7th Century CE. The original religion of Iran was Zoroastrianism. Islam was forced on the people of Iran. The Zoroastrian code of concepts discusses the one God theory and the free will of every human to do what pleases them.
