Francesca Albanese appears to reflect the UN itself. I defy anyone to show anything positive from the discredited organization since Dag Hammarskjöld was killed. I was very young at the time and I admired him. When he was killed in 1961, the UN lost its raison d’etre. In the late 1950s, my parents took a vacation to New York from Norfolk, Virginia and the only thing that I wished to see was the UN compound but today I would not step foot inside the compound. It has reminded me of its predecessor, the League of Nations, which performed so badly that WWII was its final outcome.
I wish Trump would pull us out of it and force it to leave NYC. But I think he needs congressional approval.
