After 2 years of pro-Hamas riots that included multiple violent assaults on Jewish New Yorkers with worshippers being terrorized by Muslims outside synagogues, New York’s Attorney General Letitia James finally takes action: AGAINST THE JEWS!

AG James has refused to take action against any of the Muslim and leftist groups behind the violence and the riots, but has shut down a Jewish group whose tone may have been confrontational that advocated fighting back against those groups.

Jew-hating groups like this are never shut down by Letitia James:

Here’s the specific text of James’ ‘legal’ document. “For example, Betar members repeatedly referred to keffiyehs as “rape rags” in public and private. Keffiyehs are a traditional middle eastern headscarf that have become identified with Palestinian identity. One member stated on an internal Betar Whatsapp chat that all devout Muslims “‘hate America.” Echoing these sentiments, Betar’s chairman wrote that they harass “Muslim terrorists.”

AG James obviously has a real problem with that last part. The James press release claimed that “Betar threatened to place Jewish activists on lists to be shared with foreign authorities in an effort to bar them from travel and intimidate them into silence.”

By that she means that the names of terrorist supporters were passed on to Israeli law enforcement authorities. There’s nothing illegal about that.

The only actual violence that AG James describes by Betar took place when Hamas supporters came to hold a hate rally at a synagogue. Not that the James statement mentions that point. It’s the equivalent of accusing a black group of encouraging violence against a KKK rally at a black church.

AG James does not address the fact that Hamas supporters routinely come with weapons and assault Jews outside synagogues and Jewish events. Nor has she gone after any of the Muslim groups behind it. Instead she’s targeting Jews who have defended their community against assaults by the hate groups that James supports. Their rhetoric and tactics may not have been nice or politically correct, but they did not do a fraction of the things that the allies of Mamdani and James have routinely done.

But this is nothing new for AG James who had illegally gone after the NRA for political reasons. Now the Mamdani ally is targeting Jewish groups. This is how New York turns into London.

Mamdani celebrated the move which protects his Hamas allies from encountering Jewish self-defense during their attacks on synagogues in New York City. And this way he outsources the dirty work to others.

The Intercept President Donald Trump signed an executive order titled “Additional Measures to Combat Anti-Semitism” that “demands the removal of resident aliens who violate our laws” and calls on the Department of Justice to “protect law and order, quell pro-Hamas vandalism and intimidation, and investigate and punish anti-Jewish racism in leftist, anti-American colleges and universities.” It comes on the heels of an earlier anti-immigration order signed during Trump’s first day in office that called for increased vetting and crackdowns on visa holders and people trying to enter the U.S. based on their political and cultural views.

• Deport Hamas Sympathizers and Revoke Student Visas: “To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice: come 2025, we will find you, and we will deport you. I will also quickly cancel the student visas of all Hamas sympathizers on college campuses, which have been infested with radicalism like never before.”

Emboldened by the pair of orders, Betar U.S., the American branch of an international organization founded by the early Zionist writer and settler colonialist Ze’ev Jabotinsky in 1923, took to social media ahead of the vigil for Rajab, which it labeled as a “Jihad rally.” Betar invited its supporters to show up and “assist @ICEgov⁩ in deportation efforts,” promising to “document all attendees” to submit to the Trump administration as a part of his recent orders.

Maybe it’s time for another Rabbi Meir Kahane to emerge in NYC? In June 1968, at a meeting held at his cousin’s midtown Manhattan synagogue on West 34th Street, Kahane founded the Jewish Defense League, or “JDL.”

18Forty “We are talking of Jewish survival,” Kahane declared. “To turn the other cheek is not a Jewish concept. Do not listen to the soothing anesthesia of the establishment. They walk in the paths of those whose timidity helped bury our brothers and sisters less than 30 years ago.”

Kahane organized groups of Jewish men to patrol the Williamsburg and Crown Heights areas of Brooklyn, as well as other predominantly Jewish neighborhoods in New York. The men escorted Jews to synagogues and protected Jews and Jewish-owned businesses against attack.

This subgroup of the JDL became known as the Chaya squad. The chaya, a Hebrew word meaning ‘animal,’ was the fighter in the organization and was responsible for protests, demonstrations, and street patrols. A training camp was established in the Catskills, where members could learn combat techniques and weapons use.”

His justification for violence was biblical, even theological. “He did not believe that antisemitism was ‘circumstantial’ but rather embedded in non-Jewish society, a secular iteration of ‘Esau hates Jacob,’” wrote Shaul Magid, a Kahane biographer. “Thus for him antisemitism can never be eradicated. It can only be controlled, and violence was a deterrent to control antisemitic behavior through fear.”

On the evening of 5 November 1990, Meir Kahane had just finished speaking at the midtown Manhattan Marriott East Side hotel when he  was assassinated by the Egyptian-born El Sayyid Nosair at the Marriott Hotel.
