Fourteen Muslims accused of helping jihadist gunmen storm the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo and a kosher supermarket went on trial today, under one of the country’s tightest-ever security operations, five years after three days of terror sent shock waves through France.

The suspects are accused of having provided logistical support to the perpetrators — brothers Said and Chérif Kouachi, and their accomplice Amedy Coulibaly — and face charges of participating in a terrorist criminal association.
The victims included the magazine’s editor, Stephane “Charb” Charbonnier, several cartoonists and columnists, and a protection officer assigned to protect Charb, who had been the target of threats over the magazine’s publication of so-called “blasphemous” cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed.
The 17 victims were killed over a period of three days. All three attackers were killed by police. The killings marked the beginning of a wave of jihadist attacks across France that left more than 250 people dead.
On Monday, anti-terror prosecutor Jean-François Ricard dismissed the suggestion that it was just “little helpers” who were facing justice. “It is about individuals who are involved in the logistics, the preparation of the events, who provided means of financing, operational material, weapons [and] a residence,” he told France Info radio. “All this is essential to the terrorist action.”

WTF, 5 years to first bring these motherfuckers to trial! That in itself is success for the terrorists. The trial ought to have been fast-tracked with minimal delay for readiness to proceed. The islamic terrorists are still perpetrating their expansion in s France yet the Macron government refuses to recognize it because reality cannot stand in the way of their “values,” please Charlie Hebdo, remind the French that national suicide is not a value.

I thought blasphemy was something against God. In this case, they mean blasphemy against Mohammed. It violated Shariah, the penalty is death. France let these Koranderthals in, eventually Shariah will be the law of the land.
I doubt justice will prevail, the French are too gutless and terrified of moslems. (as are the English, Scandinavians, Germans, Dutch, Belgians, etc., etc..)
