I AM a Polock. Sad to see the city follow the slow decline. HowEVer, Punchski Day is coming, and the Polish Village Restaurant appears to still be operating. The Village is an old-style, literally in the basement, bar/polish food place that has been around for years. The real deal – not fancy but last time I was there it was still “genuine”… Potato pancakes, pierogi, beet soup, etc.
I think I’ll make a pilgrimage again this year.

Could be… I was unable to quickly locate a saved post, as these windoze computers keep dying or becoming unuseable due to microsoft’s planned obsolescense. I DO remember talking you out of all (?three?) versions of your header pictures right around the time the current “skyline” image appeared. “Life” took me many places, and I am just now “returning” to some degree of “normalcy”. I now have a grandson age 4, have moved a couple times, am once again a RealtoR, and still have my Dad’s place in Flint while working on family things and renovating a derelict place near Houghton Lake.
There are thousands of unread emails in this account, and it’s possible that I originally used a different email back when. I occasionally scan “digest” pages from you, Pam, and Robert, but when the WordPress confirmation page came up all the old links are still there. I will screenshot the list next time I see it.

Holy shit what in the hell has happened to Michigan, i grew up in detroit and this kind of bull, well we did not tolerate this and we put an end to it. Back in the late 70s were i was in the Army i saw how most of the blacks turned to islam and i thought back then that this will bring big problems and as all can see im right here. What is happeneing to the home of the brave and free. The question should be what will you do about it will you let it grow or will you put a stop to it before it eats you and your kin. I really dont know what happened to our westworld but i think that the whole im a woman no im a man today or we are more is taking its toll and we cant fight our way out of a wet paper bag. Will we behave this way or will we stand and be men.
Daniel, the problem in Michigan began way before the ’70’s. It was Henry Ford and his car company and his abject hatred for Jews. When he needed to staff his growing business with thousands of employees, he refused to hire any Jews, and therefore decided to import cheap labor to fill the ranks which he brought in from Arab countries. Michigan then became the state with the largest Arab Muslim population and over the decades grew accordingly until it became what it is today. Dearborn is a close second and already has a Muslim mayor and other officials.
yeah i remember fod and carter and even nixon but that ford started the invasion of michigan, that i didnt know, thanks. Im just very sad to see michigan go shitty. I loved detroit and its people and the way of life there back then. What needs to be done is to get rid of the enemys of the nation and keep him out. Foreall the whole blm, lgbtq and whatever need to be stopped and we need to go back to our way of life and not this hippytrain. God save our ships.
