Friedman recounts anti-Semitic episodes (some from Jews) in his new book, “Sledgehammer: How Breaking with the Past Brought Peace to the Middle East,” which is set to be released on Feb. 8th. The book centers on how the White House under former U.S. President Donald Trump successfully achieved the Abraham Accords and a new era of peace in the region.
World Israel News The excerpt from the book that was shared by Breitbart is as follows:
Word of my stubborn insistence on standing with our ally Israel had now circulated widely within the State Department. Another senior staffer decided to call me and offer the following advice: “Mr. Ambassador, don’t be so Jewish.”
“What?”
“Don’t be so Jewish. You represent the United States of America. Tone down the Judaism in your work.”
Don’t be so Jewish?
I was furious. “Do you think I am under any disillusion as to who I represent? I’m not a politically correct person but I have to ask you, why do the laws of political correctness not apply to Jews?”
“Just a free word of advice.” Worth the price.
Friedman said that the remarks were made ahead of Trump’s first visit to Israel in May 2017, when the White House was still deciding over whether to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, where it sits today.
The former ambassador helped arrange a visit for Trump to the Western Wall on that trip, making him the first sitting U.S. President to do so.
It didn’t take long to figure out why the State Dept was so opposed to Friedman’s nomination.
According to The Hill, Friedman has repeatedly defamed (far- left) American Jews, calling them “kapos” and “worse than kapos.” A “kapo” was a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps who was assigned by the Nazis to crack down on other Jewish prisoners. Friedman also labeled one of America’s most respected (if you’re on the far left, that is) Jewish organizations (Anti-Defamation League) allegedly fighting anti-Semitism, hate, and discrimination “morons.” (He was right)
But it doesn’t stop there.
Friedman slandered a sitting American president and secretary of state, calling President Obama and Secretary Kerry anti-Semites. He smeared former president Bill Clinton as, “more dangerous to the interests of Israel than any president since Eisenhower.” He defamed former senator and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, referring to her “lengthy career of anti-Israel advocacy and policy” and implying that she takes advice from agents of the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda.

I often think this hatred towards the Jewish people comes out of jealously and resentment, for instance Israel,”West Bank” and Gaza, all three live in the exact same climate and landscape, basically Desert, and yet only one of those three nations are known today as a Hi Tech Corridor and the other two are basket cases living in shit…No Awards will be handed out to those who can figure which is which and who is who…
Centuries ago anybody dealing in money was thought of as low class and so the only job the Jews were allowed to do was to deal in money, and now people call them money grubbers because they became successful at it against all odds…
So why would anybody put somebody down for becoming successful, jealously and resentment is the answer… Go figure..

The State Department has always been antisemitic
Friedman should name the person who said that
Jews worldide have a specail demeanour in the way they carry themselves and the way they speak. As do Italians, Greeks, Indians etc
Did he mean the kippah that Friedman wears?
BareNakedIslam says
No, he doesn’t wear it all the time, just where appropriate. By being “too Jewish” they mean too pro-Israel.
Linda Rivera says
Warned by the U.S. State Department “not to be so Jewish”
In other words (the Deep State, U.S. State Department):
We want you to be ANTI ISRAEL.
BareNakedIslam says
Yes, that’s exactly what they mean. Probably Biden’s Ambassador is an anti-Israel Jew
