The Palestinians buried her within 24 hours, refusing to give Israel access to the bullet that killed her or any other critical forensic evidence.
HonestReporting The bullet which killed Abu Akleh and a corresponding ballistic analysis may provide the key to understanding whom, and under what circumstances, she died. But the adamant refusal of the Palestinian Authority to collaborate with Israel on an investigation and the rush to bury the deceased Al Jazeera journalist, demonstrates a suspicious lack of transparency and unwillingness to find the truth by the Palestinian Authority.
Importantly, Palestinian Forensic Medicine Institute Director Dr. Rayyan al Ali, has already said that it cannot be determined whether Abu Akleh was killed by Israeli fire or by a Palestinian bullet until a full investigation is completed.
This begs the following question: if the Palestinians have nothing to hide, why are they refusing to cooperate with a joint investigation with Israel and/or a third party? And even if the Palestinian leadership does eventually share the bullet or other evidence with Israeli or external investigators, there’s no guarantee that it won’t be tampered with.
Not only has the Palestinian Authority provided no evidence demonstrating that Israeli forces fired the bullet which killed Abu Akleh, they doubled down and even accused Israel of doing it purposefully. According to the Palestinian Authority’s Foreign Ministry, Israel “intentionally and deliberately” targeted Abu Akleh.
For a regime which has refused to conduct an open and transparent investigation with Israel, such accusations are more than absurd; they amount to little more than a blood libel against Israel which may lead to further violence.
Israel Today The death of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh is sad, tragic even, regardless of which side fired the bullet that killed her in Jenin. But the response to her death in comparison the responses to the deaths of many other journalists in this region is so exaggerated as to be comical.
It seems to be all anyone can talk about. From the White House to designated terrorist group CAIR to US Congressmuslims Omar and Tlaib, to the United Nations to Al Jazeera’s headquarters in Qatar, without any forensic evidence, as everyone seems to have already extrajudicially determined Israel’s guilt.
Why did we not hear such calls or see such an overwhelming reaction on social media following the deaths of the hundreds of other journalists who met similar fates? Only one conclusion can be reached: None of those journalists died in such a way that Israel could be blamed.
More to the point, if conclusive evidence were to emerge that Abu Akleh was killed by a Palestinian bullet, most of those now bemoaning her death would quickly move on to a different topic.
The only thing genuine about their present response is the hatred for Israel. For if Israel weren’t involved, hers would have been quietly added to the list above, and the rest of the world would’ve never heard the name Shireen Abu Akleh.
Israel Unwired After a fierce gun battle in the Northern Samaria city of Jenin between the IDF and “Palestinian” terror squads hiding there, it was discovered that an Al Jazeera “journalist” embedded with the terror squads was killed. The “Palestinians” and their supporters around the world wasted no time blaming Israel. There is just one problem.
Footage released by the Israeli foreign ministry clearly shows “Palestinian” terrorists screaming that they killed an IDF soldier, but no soldier was killed. When they went to retrieve the body, they find out that instead of being a soldier it was Shireen Abu Aqla an Al Jazeera reporter.
This morning, in Jenin, terrorists heard saying: “They’ve hit one, they’ve hit a soldier, he’s laying on the ground”
But no IDF soldier was injured in Jenin

While, the reporter’s unfortunate death is being used by those who often spread blood libels against Israel.
This reporter was in a dangerous situation, while the terror squad she was hiding out with began to rain down bullets onto IDF soldiers. It may be sad and unfortunate she was killed, but she was not hiding with the terror squad without knowledge that these guys were looking for a fight.
Not only is Israel not to blame as the evidence shows, but it is Al Jazeera’s responsibility to come clean and inform authorities that their reporters are not acting in good faith while being in Israel, but rather sympathizing with terrorists.
It appears likely that armed Palestinians — who were firing indiscriminately at the time — were responsible for the unfortunate death of the journalist,
Without any evidence of who was actually responsible for the journalists death, Michigan Congressmuslim Rashida Tlaib said, “When will the world and those who stand by Apartheid Israel that continues to murder, torture and commit war crimes finally say: ‘Enough’?” she wrote on Twitter. “Shireen Abu Akleh was murdered by a government that receives unconditional funding by our country with zero accountability,” Tlaib added.
Tlaib’s fellow Congressmuslim from Minnesota, Ilhan Omar said (without evidence): “She was killed by the Israeli military, after making her presence as a journalist clearly known,” the radical leftist Muslim lawmaker tweeted. “We provide Israel with $3.8 billion in military aid annually with no restrictions. What will it take for accountability for these human rights violations?”
Nihad Away, the smarmy little executive director for designated terrorist group CAIR demands ending all U.S. military aid to Israel following the killing of Shireen Abu Akleh, by an unknown gunman.
