Don Rickles was lovingly known as “Mr Warmth” for his penchant for insulting every race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual identity, and gender (all two of them).
Don Rickles was a very kind and generous man. My sister used to valet park for him and he was very personable and a great tipper. You won’t find any dirt on him or any negatives from those who knew him and those who were fortunate enough to interact with him.
Walter Matthau was another. As a fellow Pacific Palisadian, I stopped him on the street a few times while he walked his dog and he was as friendly as one can be. Loved to talk!
Man he was funny. Back then there was no holds barred. You had to first learn to laugh at yourself b4 you could laugh at others. And nobody was actually laughing AT people, we were laughing WITH people. We understood they were jokes, intended to push boundaries so we may laugh at the worst of society. This generation I fear will never know this…sad
Yes, it is very sad. Comedians like Jerry Seinfeld refuse to perform at colleges because everything that used to be funny now offends half the students.
When I was young, I thought he was abusive. But as I got older, he got funnier, if you know what I mean. It was just his schtick and he was the best at it.
Oh that was great! Thanks for the laugh 😂
I don’t think today’s young generation would appreciate him. The “wokesters” would be horrified.
Gotta give it to my Welsh brothers and sisters for this👏👏👏👏

I have never heard anything negative about Rickles either.

Seinfeld is a liberal douche bag…not funny….he was the WORST part of his show by far!
He was one of the best.
Yes, but he was totally a hole also
Why do you say that? I thought he was great.
