Mr BNI is in the hospital and I am here with him so I won’t be able to do much posting for awhile. I can see your comments on my phone, however. 🥰
Finally just got home. It’s 12:30AM here and Mr BNI is still in a holding room, waiting for a real room. And we were there from 10:30 in the morning. And this is one of the best hospitals in NY. But the doctors and nurses are very good.
Thanks everyone for the kind words.
UPDATE 1: It’s Friday night now. Apparently they aren’t going to perform the Afib procedure on him until Monday at the earliest. Needless to say, he is pissed and is threatening to walk out of the hospital. His clothes are here but I took his wallet, credit cards, and money home with me last night, so he can’t get too far. It would be about a 2 hour walk to get home. He isn’t what you’d call a good patient but the nurses like his sense of humor. They just don’t realize that he isn’t joking about some of the things he says.
Hey. So sorry to hear that. I have benefited and shared so many of your posts. Will pray he gets better. Let us know how he is doing. You folks do so much to inform us what islame is doing around the world.
All the best.

Good deal ! 0600 here , was going to send him my guardian angel but did not want to get on Moses and his staff bad side … he has got a rep for being pretty loose with that thing
In regards to your update. That’s crazy that they expect a heart patient to wait over the weekend for treatment. Not to mention the cost of a weekend retreat in a hospital bed; & the probable damage caused by hospital food. I don’t blame him. Anyway, I’m glad you’re back; & Mr BNI is hopefully under the watch of good nurses..
I generally don’t trust healthcare providers, after they tried to kill me one too many times. Mr BNI is lucky to have you. You said it takes two hours to walk from the hospital: How long to drive? Will the doctors do whatever needs doing for Mr. BNI tomorrow? Then he comes home 🙏?
He’s getting nuts there. He insists he’s leaving tomorrow even if they don’t do the procedure. He was supposed to have an MRI and echo cardiogram over the weekend and all they did was one x-ray. His doctor has been away all weekend but he’s back tomorrow. I am going to raise hell tomorrow morning. The drive is only 15- 20 minutes depending on traffic.
I imagine there’s a level of planned incompetence (not giving tests when things are quiet over the weekend) that somehow always benefits the house (and stresses the patient). What’s the procedure? I’m sure things will go smoother today, between your presence, & the doctor coming.
Apparently, Mr BNI raised hell with the doctor this morning, and apparently, they are going to do the procedure (Some kind of cardio electronic shock thing to regulate his heartbeat) this afternoon. Will let you know.
Yes, he has one, but that only ensures it doesn’t go below a certain number, not above. But as of tonight, the rhythm seems to have stabilized, so fingers crossed 🤞
If he has cardiac issues, he should eat lots of tomatoes, oats, dark chocolate, beans, broccoli and spinach. Also, I recently found out something interesting: the Old Testament tells Jewish men that wearing prayer boxes will lengthen their lifespan. Recent research by Jack Rubinstein at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine has revealed that the tefillin straps from which the prayer boxes are attached to the arm promote remote ischemic preconditioning, protecting the wearer from heart attacks and strokes by lowering blood pressure and stimulating the body’s natural protective mechanisms against damage caused by low levels of oxygen.
Just spent a month in hospital with Heart Failure,,,didnt expect to live but now I am ok….So Mr BNI stay positive for yourself and Mrs BNI…..Cheers from Australia.

Yes, an update would be good. If your husband doesn’t have a pacemaker, you might check into purchasing a Rife machine (frequency medicine).

Sorry, I can’t read Hebrew.
VMS says
The transliteration is r’fuah sh’leimah.
The literal translation is “a complete healing,” but in modern Hebrew it means “get well soon.”
Modern cardiac care has come a very long way from years past. And hospital stays, even after major surgery are now very short. He should be fine.
