Twenty three Republicans voted along with all House Democrats to kill a resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) for her anti-Semitism and condemnation of Israel after Hamas launched a deadly attack against the country last month.

More than 20 Republicans on Wednesday voted to kill The 23 Republicans joined all House Democrats in a 222-186 vote in favor of a procedural motion that blocked the disciplinary resolution from reaching the floor.
The nearly two dozen Republican votes were somewhat unexpected as Tlaib has come under harsh criticism from the House GOP over her statements about Israel. Tlaib is the only Palestinian American member of Congress.
Conservative Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) last week moved to force a vote on the censure resolution, accusing Tlaib of “antisemitic activity” after Tlaib voiced concern over U.S supplying arms to Israel and called for “lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance.”
The resolution also accused Tlaib of “leading an insurrection” after the Michigan Democrat participated in an anti-war protest last month at the Capitol that called for a cease-fire. The protest was organized by two anti-Israel, George Soros-funded far-left Jewish groups.
Israel launched a major bombardment of Hamas-controlled Gaza following the terrorist group’s attacks on Oct. 7 that left more than 1,400 people in Israel dead, including hundreds of civilians.
Tlaib, a staunch Israel critic, has been condemned by some of her colleagues like Representatives Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Ritchie Torres and Josh Gottheimer. She was among U.S. legislators who last month introduced a congressional resolution urging “an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Israel and occupied Palestine”.
JPost Former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, slammed Michigan Democrat Rashida Tlaib, for her ignorance and pathetic attempt to rewrite history when she claimed in an interview that:
“Palestinians created ‘safe haven’ for Jews after the Holocaust.”
“There’s always kind of a calming feeling when I think of the Holocaust, that it was my ancestors – Palestinians – who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity and their existence, in many ways, has been wiped out… in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-Holocaust, post-tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that in many ways,” Tlaib said.
Calling the group of Republicans who voted to kill her resolution “feckless,” Greene wrote in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter: “This is why Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communists Democrats or ever hold anyone accountable!! PATHETIC.”

Rashida Tlaib calls for the destruction of the state of Israel one day after House failed to censure her.
WLTReport Rep. Tlaib, a member of the infamous “Squad,” has taken to X with a post bashing Joe Biden for support of Israel. People were quick to point out that the language used in the post calls for the destruction of Israel.
Kyle Becker on X pointed out what this problematic phrase means:
This is what the American Jewish Committee has to say about the words:

I’ve tried to tell people that all of this is nothing new – the terrorist training camps have been in America for decades. Yet the police state will kick down the doors of law abiding citizens. This is why the Second Amendment is so very important. Since there is a movement to abolish the Constitution(s), it will also abolish ALL the red flag laws – if enacted. The red flag laws are a declaration of war against the American citizenry. The illegal immigration and immigration jihad movement is a anti-American Movement toward genocide. Be prepared! Secure your Second Amendment rights period!

I’mma refer to them as RepubliCUCKS from now on.

I like that!

I read where one of the Republicans (and maybe others) didn’t support the resolution because of the wording. It’s amazing that he and the other a-holes couldn’t have worked with the friends of Israel and civilized people to modify the wording so that it would have been approved. But that would be too much effort for the idiots who are in the GOP.
The Woke Ender says
I vote to rename the Republican Party “The Republiclown Car” because they treat damn near every serious issue as if it were a fucking joke. 🤡
Every time Tlaib (as well as the other members of the Jihad Squad) talk out of their asses, nobody in power does a damn thing about it and is often times 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥.
Our government HAD to open the Pandora’s box of Muzzies, now they won’t even try to put ‘em back in.
Hope they’re happy now since it’s likely we’re about to turn into Islamic England within a few short years if this turd is allowed a grip on political power well into the future.
(Best case scenario is if we get another amendment to the Constitution either banning Islam as a protected religion and/or disallowing Muzzies to be elected into any sort of office since I am FED UP with this barbaric ideology.)

We can only hope that these squad members have accidents cutesy of the Massad.

There are two things to remember about Rashida Tlaib. The first thing is she identifies as a Palestinian with her grandmother that still lives in Israel. The second thing is that she is a Muslim. These two things help explain her hatred of the nation of Israel and her anti-semitism. It is too bad that the censure motion against her in congress filed by Marjorie Taylor Greene failed. However the way things are in congress this was expected. Obviously the democrat-socialists would vote to kill the censure motion. But the fact that 22 republicans voted to kill the censure motion shows that congress is really messed up and a lot of persons in congress do not care that one of their members is highly anti-semitic.

I did not expect to see any turncoat repub vote from Mt and I did not and that is a good thing they did for their continued re election .

Marjorie Taylor Greene is so correct. It’s disgraceful that Republicans don’t present a united front. Too many RINOS!
