I lived and worked in Afghanistan back in the mid 70s. The shelf to the bathroom window, which had typical products on it such as shampoo, shaving cream, etc., kept getting stolen from the alley side of the house. I put a substantial rat trap with sharp teeth (not a typical girly mouse trap) on it. I heard it go off one night and someone screeched louder than Joy Behar and Whoppie Goldberg when they found out Trump beat Hillary in 2016. No problems after that little episode.
AIDS would also work. I am shocked that only 6,000 kids have been killed. Israel is slacking. If there’s no children we will never have the eye for an eye mentality to always seek vengeance.
Way back in the ’80’s there was a rash of thefts of car stereos. Many students where these thefts took place epoxied razor blades to the stereo, so when the thief tried to steal it, he got his hands sliced. Setting traps is theoretically illegal, but someone suing is likely to get a defense verdict.
Another good idea is using wheat paste. You have to use a blade to scrape them off once they’re dried.
