A group of 10 American cowboys and ranchers from Arkansas and Montana arrived in Israel to volunteer to help farmers and ranchers suffering a shortage of workers since the country was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7th. None of them are Jewish and all of them paid for their own airfares to the Jewish state.
YNET News The cowboys took off from JFK airport in New York, and landed in Israel late at night. They are part of the Christian-religious movement that identifies with the State of Israel and the Bible. Their arrival has made a big splash on social media, where their photos have been shared over and over again.
The group of cowboys belong to an organization that calls itself “The Israeli Guys,” part of the HaYovel evangelical group founded 20 years ago that brings Christian farmers to help Jews in Judea & Samaria. These pro-Israel Christians, who understand Israel on the basis of faith, view Israel as home. Over the years, they have spent a lot of time in Israel, which has hosted more than 3,000 Christians from 30 different countries who have helped farmers and breeders, and also helped guard and secure some of the Israeli settlements.
On Black Saturday, they began “Operation Itai”, calling on Christians from all over the world to stand by Israel. The organization also has raised $1.8 million that will be used to purchase equipment for neighborhoods in Judea & Samaria, and have also managed to recruit cowboys from various farms from southern U.S. states, including those who have just arrived. The trigger that brought them now was the Swords of Iron war with Hamas, which triggered a shortage of workers in Israel, including on farms throughout the country.
And back to the cowboys: A few months ago, the Arkansas state house passed a unique resolution to promote business and technological ties with Israel. This decision was intended to give provide direction for the upcoming term of the state’s new governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the daughter of Mike Huckabee (one of Israel’s biggest supporters), the former governor of Arkansas and a member of the Republican Party.
The decision was promoted by Mindy McAlindon, a legislator from the Arkansas House of Representatives, who contacted the head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, to see what kind of collaborations could be done in Israel. After a concerted effort by the head of the council together with his professional team, together they promoted the resolution on promoting ties with Israel.
It is not yet known which farms the newly arrived cowboys will work in, but it is an important help for farmers across the country, who are dealing with a shortage of workers in today’s difficult and complex reality.
That is the right thing to do and we have forgotten what it means to stand together. This is wanted from the rich and the politics then only so can they control and destroy us.

Very good news – American cowboys are inspiring. In India we too love Israelis. Many active duty Israelis of IDF visit India after getting their much deserved break from killing all those terrorists. They feel right at home in India where there is no trace of antisemitism. Here’s a documentary about this.
However, if these same Israelis were to visit one of India’s neighbours such as Pakistan or Bangladesh, they would get a rude awakening.

After October 7, many Indian youth wanted to wear Israeli jerseys and wave Israel flags in solidarity.
But the Modi government prevented that. They don’t wish to “offend Muslim countries.” Go figure.
However on the same note, they also banned any pro-Hamas protests. So maybe they’re under a lot of international pressure not to come out totally in support of either side.
In every major city of India, including the leftist town I come from, Calcutta, has a strong Jewish support base.
The good thing is, noone here likes Hamas or Hezbollah or any other similar group. We see them equal to ISIS or Al Qaeda or the terrorist groups in our neighbouring countries of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

That happens because we have to keep an eye on the shenanigans of Muslims especially those from Pakistan and Bangladesh. We don’t trust them one bit.
A lot of people in India are taking interest in blogs and videos related to Islam because the Muslims are secretive. They hide their real thoughts and motivations. The Muslims M.O. is to spring a surprise on you when you’re not at all cautious.

Totally agree. I always wonder why, when India gave them land for a Muslim country of their own like Pakistan and Bangladesh, India didn’t force all the Muslims to move to one of them?
The good thing is we have an electrified live fence separating us from the Pakistanis across the entire 3300 kilometer border. It’s 440 V Live wire fortified with aerial cameras, laser obstacles, and automatic machine guns firing from the forward posts.

The cost of this fence was entirely borne by India. The Pakis would never need one – noone from India wants to travel to their Islamic Paradise.

That electrified border makes me feel very secure. It keeps all the Muslim pests – the Pakistanis away. Our border with Bangladesh is still a Work in Progress though, but it will be ready by 2030 I think.
India also has an extensive border with China. Although there are tensions, the Chinese are much more civilized people. We don’t expect them to cross illegally or send over Jihadis. For the most part, the Indo-Chinese border works on friendly terms, and there are designated crossings for trade and people coming in with legitimate visas.
With Nepal and Bhutan, we have freedom of movement. Their people can freely live and work in India so no entry permission is needed.
It frustrates the Pakis and Banglas so much that India is open to almost everyone except their kind.
Whenever I read about some kind of violence in India, it nearly always involves Muslims. I saw a headline on an article just the other day where some Muslims were threatening to turn India into an Islamic state. Just like they do wherever they settle.
Indian Muslims, for the most part, are a cowardly bunch. I’m not worried about them.
Of course you’ll find wackos with Jihadi aspirations but they’re under control. They can’t behave anything like the Islamists of Paris, London, and other European cities.
I consider the Muslims of Pakistan and Bangladesh a bigger threat to our way of life. They are the real enemies.
They are all part of an evangelical organization called HaYovel – the Jubilee – that has been trying to convert Jews in Israel for the past 20 years. It is an important effort but it has the stain of an ulterior motive.

Btw I’m usually not a big fan of Governor Abbott in Texas because of border bs. But… I received an email soon after the attack, for state news… it read that Abbott had allocated several millions to Jewish schools, organizations and synagogues here in Texas to beef up their security in wake of Oct 7th attacks.

Well from what I heard our AG Ken Paxton say, that it is “complicated.” The feds, have jurisdiction of our border, so it comes down to a legal issue and Biden’s milking it for all its worth. Our Texas troopers were installing razor wire at the river while the federally employed border guards were cutting it so the illegals could get past it. I think it’s gone to the courts but really what does it matter when 5000 to 10,000 are coming through every day.
