A few years ago, my bestest friend converted to Islam which caused me a great deal of pain as it did his own family. I tried to warn him about this satanic belief system. Even after his conversion, I pretended things were normal between us. I mistakenly thought he would eventually tire himself of Islam.
But no, the division just grew wider and wider. I thought it best to give him more space till he came to his senses which never happened. The last I met him was six months ago. He told me “he no longer keeps non-Muslim friends.” Though he added “he still cares for me deeply and prays to Olaaaaaaaa for my eventual conversion to Islam.” We decided to part ways at this point. He wasn’t very happy that we would no longer be looking out for each other. But Islam is a one way street for its converts. There’s no way out.
I tried to forget this guy but he just sent me an Add friend request on Facebook after deleting me from his friends list before. I DMd him “what’s up?” and he says ” he’s reconsidering his life choices and is feeling terribly alone and wants to meet me?” I asked him “don’t you think Islam has anything to do with your current state of mind? Are you willing to leave Islam?” At this point he just engaged in some Islamic mumbo-jumbo fatalism. He was resigned to sadness.
If he were a murderer, recovering alcoholic or ex-drug dealer, I wouldn’t mind being there for a best friend. But I’m not going to help any recovering Muslim. They’re deeply damaged from inside. I think they should perform some academic studies which pinpoint the exact regions of the brain that get damaged due to exposure to Islamic beliefs.
I just told my ex-best friend to “get lost and never bother me again.” Next time I’ll simply block him if he adds me on Facebook or tries to reach my phone number.
If you want to lead a productive healthy life, stay the hell away from Islam and the Muslims.
