Dutch lawyer, Raisa Blommestijn, has been convicted for daring to criticize mass Muslim migration.
RAIR Fondation(h/t Marvin W) In a ruling that many call a dark day for democracy and freedom of speech, Dutch legal philosopher and outspoken critic of mass migration Raisa Blommestijn has been sentenced to 80 hours of community service—twice the prosecution’s initial demand. The verdict includes 40 hours conditional and a €1,550 compensation to former MP Sidney Smeets, further igniting concerns over judicial overreach and political persecution in the Netherlands.
Standing outside the courthouse in The Hague, Blommestijn described the ruling as a damning indictment of free speech in a nation increasingly hostile to dissenting voices. “Today is a dark day for democracy, the rule of law, and freedom of speech,” she declared. “I have been convicted, but with me, everyone who shares my views has been silenced.”
The case centers on Blommestijn’s tweets, particularly one condemning a violent attack on a white man, where she wrote: “Yet another white man beaten up on the street by a group of Negroid (Muslim) primates. How many more defenseless whites must become victims? Countless, probably: the open-borders elite imports these people in droves, with all the consequences that entails.” Prosecutors labeled her language as polarizing, offensive, and stigmatizing to minorities, accusing her of inciting hatred and contributing to societal polarization.
Blommestijn’s appeal promises to reignite the debate over free speech, judicial fairness, and the limits of public discourse. With growing public outcry and calls for systemic change, the case is set to test not only the Dutch legal system but the resilience of Western democratic values.
As Blommestijn put it, “This fight is bigger than me. It’s about preserving the freedom to criticize those in power. We cannot let them win.”

What a courageous young woman, standing up and speaking out. The Netherland’s justice system is anti-Dutch, anti civilization and shameful.

Why is Wilders not convicted also? He also criticizes the invasion.
