When I was in the japans, they were starting to have problems with mohammedans. Most were turkeys from turkeyland. Not exactly riots but nowhere near “mostly peaceful protests”.
The constables would sit outside of musks and, as those creatures came out, they would follow them home or to their next destination. Somewhat like legal “stalking”. Somehow, this made the mohammedans upset. I thought it to be a GREAT idea.

I never saw one Muslim when I was in Japan, but htat was back in the late ’70’s.
The only time that I was in the japans, in the 1970s, was to visit my wife’s family and childhood friends. Didn’t see hide nor hair of a forkin’ mohammedan.
Funny vignette. A few years after returning to the “Big Island” (continental US), three of my wife’s sisters visited for a month. Shopping malls, the high end ones hadn’t died out yet. They visited Saks 5th Avenue and Nordstroms. They saw mohammedan females dressed up in garbage sacks and came back to our home extremely frightened. I told them not to worry as Mieko had her CHL (this was before this state became “Constitutional Carry”) and that she was rarely, if ever, unarmed; opening her purse and showing them her Smith and Wesson’s Ladysmith. I told them that she could protect them from those nasty foul moslems. They breathed a sigh of relief. However, they were almost shocked that their sister would carry a firearm.
They were of the thought (rightfully so) that ALL moslems were terrorists and seeing one meant that your life was at risk. They, more than likely are correct in that assumption.
