What do these fanatics expect? You can provoke some of the people, some of the time, but you can’t provoke all of the people all of the time. The harder they push, the harder the pushback will be.
Such incidents as the bullet holes in a Quran in the shape of a cross may seem extreme and counter-productive. They are not. Do not view such an incident as a Westerner and feel horrified by it. It is precisely such acts that will prompt Muslims to think twice about engaging in more acts of terror to further their jihad. Jihadists are bullies and once they see a challenge to their bullying by others, especially the majority, such acts on the part of Christians will put fear in the hearts of many Muslims. You will see more of them pull away from the jihadists and instead talk about reform, integration and condemnation of their extremist co-religionists.
You see, Muslims view acts of tolerance, forgiveness, generosity and expressions of brotherhood on the part of Christians and other “kafirs” toward the demands, transgressions and violence of Muslims as weakness and it inspires more violence, more demands, more shows of power — not less. When Muslims see that they have aroused the rage in Christians who are the majority, they will back down and even claim to be victims. Don’t buy into their claims of victimhood. Don’t back down. Organize demonstrations against Islam and Islamization of your country with thousands of people. Keep it up. Your government needs to see this as much as the Muslims. Take your country back — and whatever you do, don’t be polite. Remember: It is good to be feared.
