Horrifying news has been circulating in Italian media: In Rome, a beloved kitten, known as Rosi, belonging to a feline colony in Tor Tre Teste, was found dying in a condominium garden, after being brutally raped and nearly killed by an African migrant, most likely an illegal Muslim migrant. Police are hunting for the suspect in Rome, while Rosi remains in critical condition.
Rosi is immobilized but slowly recovering thanks to Italian vets and volunteers who rescued her after she was raped and tortured. She was found with severe genital trauma, intestinal damage, and infections, and is being treated with blood transfusions and constant vet care at Rome’s Centro Veterinario Specialistico. As of April 1, she’s stable after a second transfusion, though her recovery remains guarded.
